| Financial Aid | The math department is committed to the success of graduate students and invests university financial resources to provide students the time and support needed to complete their studies and research. |
| Assistantships | A large fraction of our students receive some form of aid, through Teaching Assistantships and /or Research Assistantships. The University also posts available graduate assistant positions, but most of our student support is administered by the mathematics department. |
| Fellowships | Programs and departments offer funding packages, which are often in the form of graduate assistantships that provide a stipend and tuition remission in exchange for service. |
| Counseling Resources | Counseling Center supports the personal, social, and academic success of University of Maryland students. |
| International Students | The University of Maryland is dedicated to maintaining a vibrant international graduate student community. International applicants are encouraged to explore the services they offer and contact them with related questions. |
| National Science Foundation | The NSF grants students with stipends and, in many cases, assistance with housing and travel. |
